first dance concert

This weekend our little Miss Emily had her very first dance concert and if that wasn't exciting enough for her, her Aunty Shell also made the trip from Perth especially for it. Emily was on a high all weekend. She did so well at the concert, we were all very proud of her. Her first night she couldn't stop waving at us from the stage and was a little out of time, oh so very cute and funny. Daddy made sure all was recorded on video to capture this special moment.

It was a very long afternoon as we had to be there early to get them ready, a little too early really as the girls had a good hour or so before it started. So they played hide and seek and danced around the room until it was time to start. All the time Emily was asking for hot chips, its not something normally on our menu, but her teacher promised them all hot chips. Only problem was.... we didn't get any, so even when we left and she was still asking, Daddy had to come to the rescue and get some for her. Good job Daddy is her super hero!
