2 sleeps to go

Well it's not long now and Emily Jane and I will be back at Para airport and heading to Perth to have "George", with hubby not far behind. As much as I am going to miss hubby and my home while we are away, I am looking forward to spending some quality time with my parents. They have a pool!!!! and for the next few weeks I just want to float with my BIG fat belly around that pool and feel weightless.
I am feeling very sore and whingy, I am officially 35 weeks pregnant today and have started feeling sick again. My legs feel faint but really heavy and my ankles are so sore. I just want to meet you "George" and for our family to become 4 NOW well not before Sunday anyways.
We still don't know if we are having a boy or girl, most people have there money on a boy. Isn't it funny how when you become pregnant everyone thinks they have a right to scrutinise your belly... too big, too small, carrying high or low, all at the the front, tell you what your having, touch your belly without permission. Everything a pregnant lady wants to hear I'm sure. Could you imagine telling a non pregnant lady what you thought of her tummy hahahaha I could just see it now. You would probably get a well deserved slap!

I'm supposed to be cooking dinner right now, but since the lap top is set up in the kitchen I thought I would quickly blog to take my mind of the food cooking. For some reason I have no appetite and everything is making me feel sick again. With Emily Jane I was never sick, sorry twice once after I slaved over home made lasagne all afternoon.... I never did end up eating it. The other was really quite disgusting, our dog Winnie vomited in the house I took one look and joined in. But with "George" I have been sick on and off through out the pregnancy mostly in the evenings..... wander if that does mean a boy? Hubby thinks a girl. Will have to wait and see I suppose....

My little dancer

Emily had her first dance class this week, I don't know who was more excited me or her. Since the moment  she was born and I found out she was a girl, I have been waiting for this day to happen. Now I have promised myself not to be one of those pushy/diva mumma's and if I think she is not enjoying it then I won't make her go. But I am soooo looking forward to her end of year concert and being able to make her costume. I really hope we are still going by then.

On the morning of her class she came into my bedroom with her tutu on over her pyjamas, telling me she was ready for "dance castles" and could we please go now as she wanted to do twirls and ballet just like Ang Ballerina. When we arrived (a few hours later) she was so excited she couldn't stop twirling and so wanted to join in but was a little shy. She would run over almost to the group and then run back to me with the biggest smile and was quite happy to dance her own routine next to me, slowly she joined in with the group towards the end. It was so gorgeous to watch all the little girls in awe of there teacher following her every move.

I am just a little sad for her that we are off to Perth this Sunday to have bub, so she will miss out on most of the term and miss out on gaining her confidence in these new surroundings.  That's ok we will be able to buy some cute little leotards and skirts for her while we are down ooh and what about dancing shoes. I am so excited!!

How cute is her tutu and I'm loving her little dance bag that she received just in time from her Aunty Soph on her return from America.. New York, New York..... shame it's not in mumma size.

Be my valentines

Happy Valentines Day, we don't really celebrate it too much around here, normally a hand made card or two, a cute little poem added to the bottom of the 'book of love' from the paper, which I think is extra sweet as it is for my eyes only. (hubbys little tradition) I always make something yummy for him for dinner....

Here is a photo of my two loves.... next year there will be 3!!

Picking up Ga

This week Ga (my mum) came to visit It was a last minute decision which was perfect for Emily as she didn't have too many sleeps to count. As we got closer to the airport she started yelling "don't worry Ga, I'm coming to get you" it was so cute. She was so patient waiting for her to get off the plane, even I was beginning to wander if she had missed it.....she was the last off.
As you can see by the smiles, she was very excited to see her. It has been a couple of months between visits which is the longest they have gone without seeing each other (we used to live 2 streets away when we were in Perth).
We had a great week catching up and relaxing, as always the good things go to fast and it was time for her to go home to Pa before we knew it. Only a week to go though and Emily and I will be off to Perth to have "George" then hubby will follow us down a few weeks later.

new beginnings

I'm not completely new to the blogging world as I have a blog for my online business. But it has never really felt like mine (I inherited it with the business) which is maybe why I procrastinate every time I have to write a blog for it. I have never really let myself relax and write just for me. Hence why I am starting this blog, it will become somewhere for me to escape and write about our life, my loves and my beautiful family..... who will soon become a family of four. I am 33 weeks and 3 days into my 2nd pregnancy. My only regret is that I didn't start this sooner as I would of loved to of documented my growing belly.

I'm looking forward to sharing with you and using this space as my own personal journal so I can record our everyday happenings and be able to look back over them in the future and share them with my family.

Bump aka George

Well I am almost approaching the 30 week mark in my pregnancy, I can't believe how fast it has come around and that I haven't even blogged about it yet. Living in Tom Price is making things a little different to last time, mainly for appointments with shared caring etc as I will be having bubba no 2 back in Perth due to needing a c section, after a lovely school prank left me with a shattered coccyx bone....ouch!!
Emily and I will be heading down at the 36 week mark to stay with my parents until George arrives.
Now we don't even know if we are having a boy or girl as we wanted some sort of element of surprise since we know what day he or she will be arriving. So back to "George" it was originally one of our boys names (we like old fashioned names) and on a road trip somewhere we were talking about names and decided to ask Emily her choice, well she decided on George, at first it was BIG George, but now it's just George. Everyday she says hello to George and gives my belly big kisses and cuddles and tells George she loves him. In her little world she is having a brother, I really hope for her bub turns out to be a George and not a Georgie. I have no inclination with this one, with Emily I just knew right from the start it was a little girl, as long as they are healthy and LOVE to sleep I will be happy,  Hubby's odds are on a girl. A girl would be easy as we have everything you could possibly want in Pink and more.....

9 weeks, 2 days and counting till we become 4.

Maybe I should run a competition on here sex and weight??? What do you think??

2 weeks and counting.....

The BIG move is getting closer, they even very kindly brought it forward a week for us!!!! So this last week has been busy fixing things around the house, to make it ready to rent. Why is it that you just make do with things around the house but then fix everything that is ok for you to live with, for other people?? Like my curtains for example they have been annoying me forever as they always fall of the curtain rings and I have been meaning to fix them for I don't know how long.... did I ever do it for me? NO but it is at the top of my list to fix now! I have also been busy selling furniture that will not fit into our new tiny little house or things that haven't been used in awhile. We had a very unpractical white leather lounge a reminder of our before children days, which had to go. It sold on Monday and since then Miss E has turned our front room into her play room! TOYS everywhere.
I think she must know something is happening as we had our first proper tantrum the other day and she has been a bit funny all week, as well as not sleeping again. I am beginning to become sleep deprived.... It's either the move or maybe the terrible two's have come early!!
If anyone has any tips on things you can do to help a toddler handle a big move to a new town, I would love to hear them. PLEASE help, all advice is greatly appreciated.
